This is my collection of full length comedy scripts. You can read them straight from the webpage or download the PDF as you like.
All I ask is for the knowledge if a show is being performed.
It's Thanksgiving, what do you bring to the table?
A play about family togetherness and espionage. Everything Thanksgiving should be. This script involves a family you get to meet through several other shows, and brings them all together in a delightful helping of dysfunction and love.
Honesty, integity, or a political career. Choose one.
As Marcus Hampton, an honest and dedicated public defender is pushed by his mother and girlfriend to enter the world of politics, he must decide what is more important. To hold tight to his moral judgement or become a politician. This script would be wonderful to perform during an election year.
Based on the cable ghost hunting shows I love to watch.
As the ratings to a ghost hunting cable show begin to drop, so does the crew. When an FBI investigator that is a fan of the show gets sent in to investigate, things get scary fun.
*This script is a direct homage to the original "Ghost Hunters"
A father and son journey over the cuckoo's nest.
Dale and his father were never close, but now that dad has gone insane, for everyone's safety, it's time they get to know each other.
* The events in this script are inspired by my real life, and my actual father. I hope you enjoy the comedy I have derived from my tragedy.
Holding together a radio station and relationships.
Nothing has gone right so far in the small studio at WXYS Radio. This Valentine's Day is only going to get worse when the only two people that can save the station are bitter high school Ex's.
I hope you enjoy this Valentine's Day appropriate script.
Everything changes, that doesn't mean you have to like it.
For fifty years nothing has changed at Bartolo's Pizza Parlor, but as the owner prepares for retirement the crew has to adapt to a whole new management. This script serves up laughter and provokes a few thoughts, we have all been here before. I see it as a wonderful opportunity for a dinner theater style performance.
My 1952 Espionage show
A millionaire playboy and an out of work espionage contractor walk into a bar...Then their friendship turns the intelligence community on it's ear. Set in 1952 they discover the "rush"-in escaping Russian spies. This is a fun script where all my vintage spy scenarios play out.
A desperate father takes a store hostage on Christmas Eve.
'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the store, costumers were leaving, when in walks one more. In search of his daughter and at his wits ends. He takes strangers hostage and winds up making friends. It's quite terrifying this man and is gun, but this story is cheerful and works out being fun.
*This script was written and is set in 1997. Believe it or not gun violence was only speculated to be as bad as it is now. Much like today, mental health is the important factor to violence. Friends and family are still the important factors to the holiday season.
Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional .
A change of management at a retirement community leads it's residence to revolt. This script was written by request of a member of a senior theater group. He said he loved it, but sadly passed away prior to bringing it to his group. I'm holding onto it for the time I fit into a role.
My "Middle-Ages" Crisis. Wants to be a musical.
Set in 1536. A court Jester stumbles upon a kingdom that has been sheltered away from society for hundreds of years. He falls in love with the princess and creates nothing but trouble for the powers that be.
This script isn't quite a musical, but it has a lot of music in it.
It could use tweaking and while the sheet music isn't on my site I will be glad to share it with anyone that may be interested.
